Yes, you read it right! I am talking about the Waste to Wonder.
We have always heard of using best out of waste and Waste to Wonders actually proved it. The 7 monuments model are not actually that big but the best part is that these all are made from waste materials.
It is the world's 1st theme park with the 7 wonders made by using industrial metal pieces, cycle chains, waste auto parts, car engines, petrol tanks, truck spring and a lot more. The idea of Waste to Wonders is inspired by Kota 7 wonders park, Rajasthan.
Another interesting fact about this park is that it was built within half a year that is 6 months! South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has installed solar trees and rooftop panels that create 50 KW powers. What's more, the surplus power will be offered to the power distribution organizations to procure income. In the making of the recreation centre around 150 tons of scrap, 5 specialists, 7 supporting craftsmen, 70 welders and assistants were utilized. As indicated by SDMC the park was built at an expense of Rs 7.5 crore.
The Waste to Wonders theme park consists of :
1- TAJ MAHAL

Place: Agra, India
Waste Material used: Cycle rings, electric pole pipes, old pans, park benches, swings, truck springs, sheets, pipes, truck sheets, etc.
2- GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA
Place: Giza, Egypt
Waste Material used: 110 layer structure has been generated by using 10,800 feet scrap angles weighing 10-12 tonnes.
3- COLOSSEUM
Place: Rome, Italy
Waste Material used: Electrical poles, metal railings, bench, automobile spare parts, car wheels, etc.
4- RIO REDEEMER
Place: Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Waste Material used: Benches square pipes, electric poles, moto bike chains and engine parts.
5- STATUE OF LIBERTY
Place: New York, USA
Waste Material used: Old piles, metal railings, angles, car rims, tablet carved from an MCD bench, metal sheets, old bike, bike chain and cycle chains.
6- EIFFEL TOWER
Place: Paris, France
Waste Material used: Wrought-iron lattice, automobile wastes like trucks, clutch plates, C channels, etc.
7- LEANING TOWER OF PISA
Place: Pisa, Italy
Waste Material used: Cycle rim, metal sheets and pipes.
One of the best place to visit with family and friends. The park is well maintained and also the entry fee for kids is Rs. 25 and for adults it is Rs. 50. I will personally recommend you to visit in the evenings or nights because the lightning makes the park more beautiful and also Photos bhi achi ayegi. :D
